Call for Contributions – IFLA Information Literacy Section Newsletter (Summer Issue 2025)

We warmly invite contributions to the IFLA Information Literacy Section (ILS) Newsletter to share insights, updates, and best practices with the global IL community. Submissions of short articles related to information literacy are welcome in the following categories:
- News and Events: News items, conference summaries, and general updates.
- Project Highlights: Brief insights into recent initiatives or best practices.
- Member Profile: Profiles of members, their libraries, or featured activities, ideally with photos.
- Recognitions: Promotions, awards, and notable acknowledgments.
- Resources: Recommended tools, readings, or useful materials.
- Opinion & Commentary: Reflections, expert insights, or commentary on trends and developments.
Submission Guidelines
Submissions should be in Word format and include necessary introductory information.
- Format: Microsoft Word
- Include: ① Full title of the submission; ② Author’s full name; ③ Author’s affiliated organization (including city and country); ④ Author’s professional title or position; ⑤ Author’s email address (for correspondence); ⑥ Brief author bio (1-2 sentences)
- Visuals: Photos, images, or graphics are welcome and may be resized for layout
- Links and References: Please include any necessary references and suggested further reading resources. References are recommended to be formatted in APA style, and in-text citations should follow the format (Author, Year).

Copyright and Use
By submitting a contribution, you grant the IFLA Information Literacy Section permission to publish your content in the Newsletter, on the IL Section website, and through its mailing list. The Editorial Team reserves the right to edit or postpone publication. By submitting images, you also grant permission for their use in IFLA IL Section publications.
