The IFLA Special Interest Group Women, Information and Libraries (WILSIG) has released the first—and final—issue of its official newsletter, marking the conclusion of its 2023–2025 mandate. Edited by the WILSIG editorial team, the July 2025 edition showcases inspiring projects and profiles from across the globe, including Zimbabwe, Slovenia, Montenegro, China, Serbia, Peru, and Croatia.

Highlighting innovative library initiatives, the empowerment of women, and the preservation of cultural heritage, the newsletter also addresses the ongoing challenges of gender inequality and the marginalization of librarianship. This edition serves both as a celebration of WILSIG’s achievements and as a call to sustain its mission through new networks and collaborations.
