IFLA is excited to be supporting this one-of-a-kind conference, in partnership with ICCROM. This participatory online experience aims to help leverage heritage collections worldwide as assets in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Together, we can create inclusive and transformative solutions to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.
Mobilising heritage collections and institutions through stronger cross-sector partnerships is crucial for achieving these global goals. This conference will examine sustainable development through five interconnected pillars: people, planet, prosperity, peace, and partnership. It will bring voices from within the culture sector and beyond to highlight global challenges and opportunities to foster intersectoral collaboration around heritage collections.
