IFLA is happy to be participating in the 33rd EBLIDA Conference and Council meetings, held in Riga, Latvia, under the theme: power and resilience: books and reading in the age of AI.

EBLIDA is one of IFLA’s key sister organisations in the global library field, focusing in particular on the needs of libraries in Europe. Following their successful bid for the ELAN project, they will be making significant investments into building stronger library fields in the region in the coming years.

IFLA Governing Board Member Kirsten Boelt will speak alongside EBLIDA President Erna Winters, exploring key themes in our two organisations’ strategies, and discussing how we we continue to work effectively together in future.

We look forward to talking more about how we as organisations can achieve our shared goals.
