IFLA will be joining activitists from around Europe and the world at this year’s GLAM Wiki conference, held in Lisbon, Portugal on 30 October – 1 November. 

Under the theme of resilience – shaping the future through community and openness, it will explore different aspects of how we can make a reality of the rights to information and culture for all.

The theme recognises that these are turbulent times, and that we constantly need to be able to respond to change, adapting how we work to be able to continue to pursue missions.

Key to this is building the networks and communities that allow us to work together to overcome hurdles, build skills, and develop tools that make the most of the possibilities that technological evolutions bring.

IFLA will be running sessions focused on the UNESCO Memory of the World programme, an advocacy workshop, and on ensuring the survival of born digital heritage.
