The June Climate Meetings (SB 62) kick off this week in Bonn, Germany. Hosted at the UNFCCC Headquarters, these meetings accelerate progress on key issues and prepare decisions for adoption at the upcoming UN Climate Change Conference (COP30)  in Belém, Brazil.

This is also an occasion for the annual In-session Action for Climate Empowerment (ACE) Dialogues. Under the current ACE work plan, these events are an opportunity to bring together stakeholders from national governments, non-governmental partners, and beyond to share experience and learn how to better implement ACE.

This is an important event for IFLA. It is an opportunity to highlight the impact of the global library field on climate communication and education – especially to stakeholders from outside the sector.

IFLA has been invited to help deliver a session on collaboration and communication, which will allow all participants to share their experiences.
