New Librarians Global Connection: Best Practices, Models and Recommendations webinar series is back! This is a joint webinar between NPSIG and IT Section.
Are you a current Library & Information Science student? Perhaps you’re a current instructor? Or maybe you work as a librarian? Wherever you are in your LIS career, you are invited to join a collaborative interactive webinar hosted by IFLA’s Information Technology Section and the New Professionals Special Interest Group.
The topic of the webinar is: “The Future of Libraries: Enhancing User-Centered Services in the Digital Age.” You will hear from three speakers, each representing a different part of the library experience: an active LIS student, an LIS instructor, and an LIS practitioner. This gathering is informal in nature and there will be plenty of space for discussion. At the end, we will all work together to create an LIS technology survival kit; don’t miss it!
The webinar is completely free to anyone studying LIS or working in libraries of all types. Hope to see you there!
Date and Time: Thursday, May 22 – 5 pm CEST
