Promoting Discovery Tools for Libraries
The webinar is organized by the IFLA Asia Oceania Regional Division Committee and is devoted to one of the most relevant topics of modern librarianship – discovery tools that ensure effective information search. The webinar presentations cover both the experience of using such tools in library practice and promising developments of commercial companies and non-profit organizations in the area.
The goal of the webinar is to familiarize the library community with promising technologies that improve the quality of information and library services, as well as to initiate the presentation and discussion of other interesting and effective projects in this area under the auspices of IFLA.
