ReAImagining Public Collections
In the context of the Hungarian Presidency of the European Union, this event brings together leaders and thinkers from across the library, archive and museum field in order to explore new ways of providing access to collections for all.
With the Hungarian constitution underlining the right of everyone to culture, the country has made access a key pillar of its work around culture during its six-month presidency of the Council of Ministers of the European Union.
This event, hosted by the National Szechenyi Library in Budapest, includes a combination of big picture interventions about the role of AI and new technologies and practical examples from ongoing EU-funded projects.
It is an opportunity take a step back, as well as to look at the respective experiences of different heritage institutions, in order to learn from each other.
The Chair of IFLA’s Europe Regional Division Committee will be there, as will IFLA HQ in order to talk about the recently released Trend Report.
