S. Villegas-Ceballos is a pioneering librarian and digital transformation leader, reshaping libraries and cultural institutions through ethical and accessible AI. With expertise in Information Literacy and Social Innovation, Santiago has spearheaded projects like AI-driven service prototypes for libraries and community labs, transforming libraries into inclusive community hubs. Founder of Medejean: Cultural Intelligence and co-founder of IAparaBibliotecas.com, he is recognized internationally for his commitment to empowering librarians and promoting critical, human-centered AI. He is also the author of AI: The Imitation Game, a forthcoming book that explores the transformative potential of AI in the library sector.

B. Costa is a developer, data analyst, professor, and researcher. He holds a Master’s degree (2014) and a PhD (2018) in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). He has experience in the field of Computer Science, mainly working on the following topics: Software Engineering, Internet of Things, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Computer Science Education. In recent years, he has participated in Research and Development projects focused on the application of Software Engineering, Data Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence techniques in Library Science and Information Science, serving as a technical leader, architect, and developer. In education, since 2005, he has taught at various levels, from technical high school to undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He is currently a Federal Teaching Professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology of Rio de Janeiro (IFRJ). He is a member of the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) and is part of the research groups “Educational Technologies and Distance Education (TEEaD),” “Open Science and Open Access to Scientific Information,” and “Laboratory of Studies and Practices in Information Organization and Technologies (LOITec)
