IFLA Elections 2025: Call for Nominations now open!
13 January 2025
Today, IFLA opens the nominations process for over 800 positions on its many committees. There are six weeks for candidates to come forward, and for Members and Affiliates to submit nominations for the varied positions available.
Now is the time to nominate candidates that are committed to making changes in our profession and who, through their energy and expertise, will empower our Governing Board, councils, and committees with vitality and passion. IFLA needs active and committed individuals, from all parts of the world, backgrounds, and experience and expertise, who can make a difference by participating fully in the professional activities that support the global library field. From strategic issues to hands-on opportunities, there are openings for all who wish to bring an international perspective to their work.
Interested in being nominated?
If a potential nominee did not participate in the Pre-Nominations phase during October-November 2024, please make sure the nominee form is submitted as soon as possible. Nominees’ profiles will be added to the list of potential nominees when received. The earlier this is received, the better!
