The IFLAPARL Communications team is collecting material for the next Newsletter issue, planned to be published in December. You are invited to contribute by:

  • Sharing news and activities from your parliamentary library/research service or regional networks
  • Sharing feedback and impressions from events related to the field (webinars, in person meetings, conferences etc.) your institution organized or that you attended
  • Sharing information on new/running research projects on the parliamentary information field
  • Sharing news of IFLA units (regional divisions, professional sections, Special Interest Groups etc.) with common interests
  • Reviewing/presenting new books, articles or reports in relation to the field.

 

Instructions

  • The news contributions may vary from 500 to 1.000 words; new publications’ presentations may be between 300-500 words.
  • All contributions may contain images and links to reliable e-sources (eg. parliament’s sites, libraries’/research services’ sites ect.). Please add a list of all the links you use at the end of your contribution.
  • If you include images, please provide captions, and send them separately for the word document. Also, provide attribution and the license to publish (use your own pictures; if people are depicted, make sure you have their license; if you don’t use your pictures, make sure you have the creator’s license).
  • Do not give any special formatting to your text. The Newsletter team will formate according to needs. If you wish to have subheadings, indicate them by using bold fond.
  • Please include the names of the author(s) and the institution(s) or organization(s) they are affiliated with at the beginning of the paper, after the title.

By submitting a contribution to the newsletter, you agree that it will be made publicly available in the IFLAPARL Newsletter, uploaded in IFLA Repository (under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license).

Please send your contributions to IFLAPARL Information Coordinator Iouliani (Lila) Theodosi ([email protected]) by 10 November 2025, using as subject your last name and the phrase: Contribution to IFLAPARL Newsletter December 2025 (e.g. Theodosi_Contribution to IFLAPARL Newsletter December 2025).
