Upcoming Session Explores Leadership Styles in Libraries
The IFLA Standing Committee on Management & Marketing is set to host an engaging online session titled “Leadership in Libraries: How Do Library Leaders Make Decisions?” on March 13th from 14:00 to 15:30 CET. This insightful event is open to anyone with an interest in management and leadership within the library context.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore various leadership styles and decision-making approaches employed by library leaders today. The session will begin with an introduction by Liisi Lembinen, Development Director at the University of Tartu Library, Estonia, who will share insights from her thesis on the subject.
An interactive discussion will follow the presentation, encouraging participants to share their experiences and perspectives. This event promises a platform for knowledge exchange and the development of leadership skills within the library community. No registration is required to participate.
