Launch of the New PRRLA Website
09 March 2025
The Pacific Rim Research Libraries Alliance (PRRLA) is a consortium of academic libraries dedicated to enhancing access to scholarly research materials. PRRLA promotes resource sharing, cooperative collection development, personnel exchange, and professional development.
We are delighted to announce the launch of our brand-new website: https://pacificrimlibraries.org/. You can access the resources through Pacific Rim Libraries (PRL), a collaborative initiative that enhances global access to digital scholarly materials with solid research and teaching value. You can also find the metadata for digitised special collections. PRRLA also offers the Karl Lo Award, which provides support to PRRLA librarians for professional development and research focused on Pacific Rim library collaboration and digital library issues.
What’s New?
We now have a member spotlight. Discover our latest news section highlighting the exceptional libraries from universities in the Asia Oceania Region, and how these libraries contribute to the advancement of research. We will feature a different member institution each month, showcasing their unique strengths and contributions starting in mid-March 2025.
Coming Up Next
Stay tuned to our calendar of events. Upcoming events include the 2025 Annual Meeting hosted by Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan, on 29 – 31 October 2025; the “Meet-and-Greet” sessions with the PRRLA members; and a webinar series starting in April.
