Those participating shared in the highlights of IFLA’s work over the past years, celebrated the recipients of Honours and Awards, and looked to an exciting future. A Look Ahead to the 2020 Internet Governance Forum
2 November 2020Between 2 and 17 November, the first fully-virtual Internet Governance Forum will bring together stakeholders from around the globe. IFLA continues to engage – and encourages libraries to take part in – discussions on how the internet works and should be governed in many areas that impact the library field. From digital inclusion to privacy, access to content, accessibility, digital skills and beyond – there are many relevant discussions worth engaging in.

IFLA Governing Board meeting report, 27 October 2020
29 October 2020The Governing Board met on Thursday 27 October. Items on the agenda included the new statutes for IFLA that will guide the Federation and that reflect the work done on the Governance Review. The Governing Board approved the draft statutes which will be available to members at the General Assembly on 5 November and will be voted on at the Extraordinary General Assembly on 12 February 2021.
