The Science and Technology Libraries Section jointly with the Continuing Professional Development and Workplace Learning Section and the Education and Training Section invite applications for papers to be presented at the IFLA World Library and Information Congress in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 24-30 August 2018 on the topic of Data Librarianship.
The sustainable development of our societies requires access to information for all, and libraries are essential to achieving this. Donna Scheeder (IFLA President, 2015-2017) underlined this point in her address to the UN Commission on Social Development on 30 January in New York.
