    2nd Executive Board Meeting for CONSAL XIX

      Malaysia has been given the opportunity to host the 19th Congress of Southeast Asian Librarians General Conference and Meeting (CONSAL XIX) in 2025. In preparation for CONSAL XIX, the Executive Board of CONSAL had their second meeting, held in a hybrid mode, on 15 July 2024. Most members from Malaysia were present physically at the National Library of Malaysia and regional participants attended virtually.

            IFLA MENA Regional Office delivers training to Omani students

              Qatar National Library (QNL) is the host of IFLA's Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Regional Division Committee. In this role, is has a mission to support the development of the field in the region. A great example of this was a recent training programme for Omani students in cutting-edge librarianship.
