Call for Articles: UNESCO Memory of the World SCEaR Newsletter Special Issue on Press Freedom and Documentary Heritage

    UNESCO’s World Press Freedom Day (3 May) acts as a reminder of the importance of respecting commitments to freedom of the press. It calls for reflection on how these freedoms were achieved, evaluation of the current state of press freedom around the world, and remembrance of those journalists who have lost their lives in pursuit of providing access to information.

      Resource Sharing: A Key Pillar of Open - Final Conference of the HERMES Project

        Save the date for the final conference of the HERMES project on resource sharing, bringing together librarians, researchers, students and advocates for a knowledge commons in order to share tools, learn lessons, and identify future needs in the field of resource sharing. The conference takes place on 18 April 2023 at the National Library of the Netherlands in The Hague, with training on 19 April.
