IFLAPARL AI Literacy and Innovation Series
Webinar 1: Strategic monitoring of AI tools and applications in library and parliamentary contexts
FLAPARL is happy to announce the first webinar of the new AI Literacy and Innovation Webinar Series, a series of short, 30–45 minutes sessions, with hands‑on guidance to help participants identify meaningful uses and confidently integrate AI tools into their workskills.
The inaugural webinar of the series addresses a foundational competency: developing an informed understanding of the evolving AI landscape relevant to the parliamentary libraries and research services community. In this webinar, Andréa Pelletier (Bibliothèque de l’Assemblée nationale du Québec) will present an approach to strategic monitoring of AI tools and applications in library and parliamentary contexts. The webinar will outline a methodology for identifying, assessing, and disseminating developments, enabling institutions to prioritize learning and adoption based on evidence, relevance, and operational needs. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.
