For over 20 years, the IFLA International Marketing Awards have been celebrating the best in library marketing and communication from around the world. These awards shine a spotlight on creative strategies and campaigns that promote library services, engage communities, and highlight the vital role libraries play in people’s lives.

Every year, libraries of all types—academic, public, special, and more—share their most inspiring ideas and initiatives. The awards are a chance to showcase great work, exchange best practices, and demonstrate how smart, thoughtful marketing can make libraries more visible, more impactful, and more valued.

In 2024 alone, we received over 100 entries, showing just how powerful marketing can be. These projects bring people together, challenge perceptions, and prove that libraries are so much more than people imagine.

Since 2019, the IFLA Section on Management and Marketing has partnered with PressReader for the IFLA PressReader International Marketing Award.
